Who We Are

DECADES OF HARD WORK AND ARTISTRY

A CRAFTSMAN AND AN ARTISAN

Hardworking. Blue collar. Calloused hands.  Meet Tony Mignot.  Working with wood since he was 12 years old, he’s perfected his craft through years of experience.  The moment you hold a TB Turnings product in your hands, you’ll see him for what he truly is-  a craftsman and an artisan.  You’ll be proud to own one of his individually crafted, exquisitely turned pieces.  Or give one as a meaningful, distinctive gift!

Tony is no stranger to hard work, and he’s got the callouses to prove it.  But his true passion is creating something beautiful.  When he first sees that raw piece of wood, he has no idea what it will become.  But as he begins to turn it, it takes shape, blossoming into a truly unique piece of artistry and craftsmanship.

VALUE IN OUR WORK

Integrity, accountability, and responsibility are Tony and his wife Bonnie’s core values, and those values go into every TB Turnings product.  Tony and Bonnie proudly support Veterans and First Responders, whose sacrifices have given us the freedoms we enjoy every day.

At TB Turnings, we source our lumber from suppliers of high quality hardwoods in Pennsylvania and Ohio. The Walnut, Maple, Cherry, and Sapele, arrive in 8 to 9 foot lengths, which are then cut to size, centered, bored, and drilled before being turned on a lathe.

Here at TB, we source our wood from Lewis Lumber locally, and Keim Lumber, which is based here in Ohio. Lamination is received from Laminated Cousineau wood products, where we hand craft these blocks to specialty items.

Our peppermill and salt grinders are hand sanded and finished to be food safe.
